Benefits of Supplier Diversity Certification for Small Businesses
Presented by Sheila Dews-Johnson, McCormick & Company, Inc.
This session would be for the small businesses who by definition (minority, women, veteran, etc) could obtain certification through several different avenues - private certifying agencies such as the ones I shared with you, NMSDC, WBENC as well as through State and Local government agencies. I would explain this process and how they can leverage their certification (which all corporations with Supplier Diversity initiatives require) to obtain access to major corporations and potential business opportunities.
